La Grotta - Lucca historical centre - piazza anfiteatro


La Grotta is a particular apartment overlooking Piazza Anfiteatro, the very famous round square in Lucca city centre, rich in cafeterias, wine bars, typical shops and art studios. It lies in an ancient building, used as a prison in the Middle Ages and restored by the famous architect Lorenzo Nottolini in the 19th century.
