This lovely apartment is located in a splendid renaissance palace in the city centre of Lucca. Just 2 minutes walk out of the commercial hearth of the city, the palace and its beautiful courtyard are but very peaceful and silent.

The flat was completely restored giving all modern comforts but maintaining all the original materials like coffin ceilings and the 600hundred terracotta floor where possible, or using new exclusive ones like cherry-wood and stones in the night area.
As it generally happens for “mezzaninos”, the flat develops on different levels, marked by beautiful stone staircases.

The original private chapel of the palace with its stucco ceiling was transformed into a well equipped cosy kitchen while the bathroom in white marble of Carrara has been equipped with a Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. In the comfortable sitting room and veranda you can watch TV or read a book enjoying the view of the garden. In particular, as you can see from the photos, some guests chose to move the table in the veranda, to have breakfast and lunch facing the garden.

Lucca is still surrounded by 4,2 kms long city walls of the xvi century now a splendid park where you can walks, run or bike any time. The city has a mainly pedestrian centre with shops, cafes and restaurants close to the medieval churches and renaissance palaces. Moreover for people who like to see the many attractions of the beautiful Tuscany Lucca offers a perfect location: Pisa is only 30 minutes distance,Florence one hours and Siena one hour and a half. For seaside lovers the Versilia coast with its 40 kms sandy beaches is only 30minutes away and Le Cinque Terre for hikers are only 1 hour and a half drive. Last but not least golfers can choose among at least 6 great golf courses (18 holes) in a distance of 30 to 60 minutes. (Forte dei Marmi, Tirrenia, Montecatini , Castelfalfi, Firenze)
